How we went from struggling with wholesale to 100 stockists in 3 months

We'd had Cosy Aromas on the wholesale market for years. And honestly we were never very successful with it.

When we launched Waxkind we did things completely differently.

We invested in a beautiful product. We created a simple focused offer. We built a proper digital catalogue. And we trained a team member to reach out to ideal stockists every single day - searching for the right businesses, reaching them directly and following a rigorous follow up process.

The numbers we saw were consistent. For everyone we contacted in a week around 20% said yes to receiving a sample. And around 10% of those went on to become returning wholesale clients.

It felt like a lot of steps. But done consistently at scale it worked.

I still remember walking into Perrywood garden centre and seeing our Waxkind display for the first time. Getting stocked in a shop you already love and shop at yourself is a surreal feeling.

Once one shop stocks you it becomes easier to get the next. Momentum builds.
